Susan Irene Alcover, 98, of Oaktown, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Oak Village Healthcare in Oaktown, Indiana.

She was born on September 23, 1922 in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of William Rucker Tinsley and LaDora Bensinger Tinsley. Susan was a lifelong Christian and homemaker. She enjoyed reading the bible and knew it front to back. As a young woman she enjoyed singing and loved music.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, husband Antonio Alcover, one brother, James Bensinger, sister, Mary Jane Brust and former husbands; Charles Zeller and Herschal Swick.

Survivors include her six children; John Mark Zeller of Terre Haute, Indiana, Diane R. Snider (Robert) of Vincennes, Indiana, Harvey Swick of Zephyrhills, Florida, Rodney Trent Alcover of Stockton, California, Gregory Rucker Alcover of Costa Mesa, California and Scott Arthur Alcover (Sherry) of Newburg, Oregon, brother, William Tinsley of Sullivan, Indiana and grandchildren; John Zeller II, Ava Zeller, Scott Kindley, Brian Kindley, Karen Magruder, Kimberly Bennett, Tammy McBride, Tony Alcover, Matthew Alcover, Zachary Alcover, Elizabeth Ruiz, Lindsey Alcover, Myles Alcover, Lauren Alcover, Steven Alcover and Erin Alcover and several great-grandchildren..

Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. David Cox officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
