Susan K (Graham) Horton

Susan Kay (Graham) Horton, 61, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at her home. She was born on April 27, 1961, in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of John Thomas Graham and Gloria Webb Graham. Susan was an Administrative Assistant at Pigg Implement Sales for 20 years. Susan is preceded in death by her parents. Her son, Thomas Horton died simultaneously. Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (Josh) Blunck and grandson, Max of Bloomington, Indiana, one brother; John F. Graham, two sisters; Jeanne Ann Graham and Phyllis L. Graham, nieces Katie (Andrew) Pappas of Carmel, Indiana. Jacque (Scott) Steele and Erica (Nick) Stearley of Sullivan, Indiana, nephews Sean Campbell and Nathan Graham of Sullivan, Indiana. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews, many cousins, close family members, and dear friends. Susan was known for her kind heart and generous spirit. She did not know a stranger and would do anything for anybody. Before working at Pigg Implement, Susan had worked for Sullivan Tire Mart, First Financial Bank of Sullivan, and the Sullivan Daily Times. One of her favorite things to do was dote on her grandson, children, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She enjoyed sitting by any pool or body of water and enjoying time in the sun and water with friends and family. Susan loved pets and animals including her dog Persi and cat Gizmo, and Thomas’s dog Copper. She especially loved owls and shared that love with her grandson, Max. Susan enjoyed music and attending concerts. At any family or friend's wedding, you could find Susan on the dance floor dancing until her feet hurt and she had to kick off her shoes to keep going. As you can imagine, Susan knew almost everyone in Sullivan County and was loved by many in her community. A celebration of life will be held at a later date with burial at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
