Obituary

Thelma M. Wright, 78, formerly of Sullivan, IN passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton, Indiana surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 5, 1944, in Lawrenceville, Illinois the daughter of John Edward Lowrance and Ida Marie Seifert Lowrance. Thelma worked in the Sullivan school cafeteria for several years and attended Abundance Grace Church.

Thelma was a loving Mother and Grandmother, and she would do anything for anyone. She had the biggest heart and will be missed dearly by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Leonard Ivy, four brothers: Walt, Harold, Ray Keith and Robert Lowrance and four sisters: Dianne Ivy, Artis “Odie” Newman, Sarah Ivy and Barbara McBride.

Survivors include her three daughters: Tracy (Daniel) Walker of Shelburn, Indiana, Lisa (Ricky) Southwood of Sullivan, Indiana and Robin Wright of Crawfordsville, Indiana, brother, John (Deb) Lowrance of Terre Haute, Indiana, grandchildren: Austin (Tina) Wright, Justin Wright, Breanna Wright, Samantha Wright and Jaden Wright and seven great-grandchildren.

Private service will be held at Brust Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery in Midland Indiana at a later date.
