Thomas E. Dorris, 70, of Shelburn, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

He was born on March 19, 1949 in Providence, Kentucky the son of Francis Leroy Dorris and Myrtle Reynolds Dorris Ridge. Tom was a veteran of the US Army and a retired truck driver from NFI. He was a member of the Sullivan Moose Lodge #2517, Sullivan VFW #2459, Sullivan Legion Post #139 and Sons of the American Legion Post #139. His passion was running his karaoke company; Tommy D’s Karaoke & DJ Service and he enjoyed gardening.   

Tom is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patty Kaiser Dorris, two step sons; Eric Killion (Lisa McCammon) of Paxton, Indiana and Thad Killion of Sullivan, Indiana and six step-grandchildren; Madelyn Killion, Ashlyn Killion, Kaitlyn McCammon, Julie McCammon, Titus Killion and Jonas Killion.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
