Tommy Lee Bolenbaugh

Tommy Lee Bolenbaugh, 87, passed away on February 23, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on March 15, 1935, in Sullivan County the son of Max and Hazel Robbins Bolenbaugh.

Tommy worked on some farms as a teen and then went to work on the L&N Railroad as a telegraph operator at the Sullivan depot and retired from the CSX Railroad at age 62. Up until 2 years ago he and Earline had a huge garden they enjoyed.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 67 years Earline that passed away December 7, 2022, sister Donna Mae that died as a child from rheumatic fever and son Dale Bolenbaugh. 

Survivors include children; Connie (Jim) Mize of Carlisle, Indiana and David Bolenbaugh of Carlisle, Indiana, daughter-in-law, Tammy Bolenbaugh of New Lebanon, Indiana, grandchildren; Jason Mize, Emily (Randy) Phegley, Michelle Bolenbaugh, Melinda Keene, Brittany (Jeff) Shields and Brandon (Kaitlyn) Bolenbaugh and great-grandchildren; Max, Blake, Trace, Jason, Lane, Brantley, Kayden, Haileigh, Magnolia, Iris, Mary, Braeden, Jesse and Noah.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, February 27, 2023 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in New Lebanon, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
