Twila Dawn Usrey, 68, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

She was born on March 22, 1954 in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of Marcus Myers and Bernice Nichols Myers. Twila graduated from Terre Haute South in the class of 1972. She was previous office manager of Atlas Oil and Gas Exploration for several years, and current office manager at Pfeifer Oil and Gas Resources. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church and previous member of the Sullivan First Christian Church for many years. Twila was also a board member of the Sullivan County Tourism Commission, Sullivan County Art Guild, long-term member of Tri Kappa, past President of Sullivan Rotary Club, Secretary and Treasurer of Sullivan Shifters Car Club, and Secretary of the Wabash Valley Harley Owners Group (HOG).  She and her husband toured the United States and Canada on their Harley Davidson.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Curtis “Reed” Usrey, son, Elliott Reed Usrey of Austin, Texas, daughter, Ariel Dawn (Jeremy) Eldridge of Martinsville, Indiana, two sisters; Sue Griggs of Terre Haute, Indiana and Gail (Jim) Teegarden of Terre Haute, Indiana and three grandsons; Titus, Clayton and Eli Eldridge.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. Eddie Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, August 12, 2022 at Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana and 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Crossroads Community Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
