Tyrone Dean Ammerman

Tyrone Dean Ammerman. 70 of Farmersburg, IN passed away Thursday July 13, 2023 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

            He was born in Sullivan, IN October 2, 1952 the son of Paul Ammerman and Martha Ann Baker Ammerman.

            Ty was a member of the Sullivan Eagles and Sullivan American Legion Post #139. He was a retired Volunteer Fireman for the Farmersburg Fire Dept, also a retired Town Marshall of Farmersburg, IN.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sherry Holmes Ammerman, a daughter, Tina L. Wright, and two sisters, Colleen Tague, and Paula Day and one great granddaughter, Logan Adalynn Rogue Scantling.

            Survivors include two sons, John D. Wright of Sullivan, IN, William Wright “Bill” of Farmersburg, IN, two daughters Lori J. Holbert (Matthew) of West Terre Haute, IN. Jaime Kreischer (Thomas) of Farmersburg, IN a sister, Connie Hawker (Mike) of Sullivan, IN, nine grandchildren, Amanda R. Britt, Peter J. Britt, Carrie R. Holbert, Nicolas M. Holbert, Bethany D. Mahurin (Phillip), Brady T. Kreischer, Brianna M. Tatum (Cyrus), Dalaina L. Scantling and Skylar D. Heidelberg, and one great grandchild, Kai A. Easter.

            Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday, July 18, 2023 with a service at 7:00PM with Rev. David Cox officiating at Brust Funeral Home.
