Vera Smith, 91, of Sullivan, IN. passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Columbus Transitional Facility in Columbus, IN.
She was born in Sullivan County, IN. December 28, 1929 the daughter of Frank Griffith and Odie Mullens Griffith. She was a retired waitress at several local restaurants.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald D. Smith, a son, Marty Ray Smith, three sisters, Eloise Savage, Bee Thomas and Mag Raley.
She is survived by a son, Roger Smith (Bobbi) of Sullivan, IN, a daughter, Donna Smith Doyle (Lex) of Sullivan, IN, five grandchildren, Danielle Levingston (Chris), Robert Smith (Kaylee, Stacy Cunningham, Nicole Wright (Joe) Kaz Doyle (Stacy), eleven great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
There will be no services, cremation has been chosen.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
