Vermont J. Weir Donham, 98, of Sullivan, IN passed away on Saturday November 15, 2025, at Union Hospital.

            She was born in Sullivan, IN. December 11, 1926, the daughter of Joseph McCoskey and Vermont Orr.

Vermont graduated from Sullivan High School in 1944, was an Administrative Assistant at the Baptist Hospital in Kansas City, MO moving back to Sullivan, IN in 2009, a member of the Baptist Church in Sullivan, IN and the Eastern Star for 80 years.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, also her first husband, Max E. Weir in 1983, and her second husband, Dale F. Donham in 2002, her son, Brent Weir, a daughter, Melissa Morton and three brothers, (Jim) James McCoskey, (Bill) William McCoskey, and Jack McCoskey

            She is survived by three grandchildren, Jon, Amy, Melinda, 1 great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews including Monty Hyten, Sara Ottenbacher, and Deborah Parker.  There will be a graveside service at IOOF Cemetery Monday, November 24, 2025, with Pastor Deborah Parker officiating.
