Virginia Sue “Suzie” Hylton, 83, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Envive of Sullivan.

She was born on April 18, 1941, in Shelburn, Indiana the daughter of Virgil Moore and Leona Adams Moore. Suzie graduated from high school and was a lifelong homemaker. She enjoyed spending time at the river where her and her husband had a cabin.

Suzie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Terry Hylton and eight brothers; Sonny, Chuck, Johnathan, Donnie, Jimmy, Gordon, Denise and Virgil “Little Man” Moore Jr.

Survivors include her daughter Tina (Terry) Garrett of Sullivan, Indiana, sisters; Sissy (Gary) Pulliam of Switz City, Indiana, Barbara (Tim) Mullens of Florida, Bess Moore of Bicknell, Indiana and Mina (Scott) Stepp of Farmersburg, Indiana, brother Danny Moore of Hymera, Indiana and two grandchildren; Tiffani Sue Garrett and Mathew Aaron Garrett. Suzie is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 13, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home.
