Wanda L. (Hunt) Wildin

Wanda L. Wildin, 99, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on August 7, 2024, at Greenwood Meadows Nursing Home.

She was born on December 4, 1924, in Graysville, Indiana the daughter of Carl A. Hunt and Sylvia Stewart Hunt. During her lifetime she was a resident in Sullivan, Indiana, Rushville, Indiana, Sebastian, Florida, Vero Beach, Florida, Terre Haute, Indiana and Greenwood, Indiana. While in Rushville she and her husband, James A. Wildin, owned and operated Wildin Florist.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Carl A. and Sylvia Hunt, husband James Wildin, daughter, Candace Wildin Kensek, sisters; Lura Belle Shreve and Carlanne Taylor.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Mick and Jo Wildin of Greenwood, Indiana, grandsons; Todd and Chad Hall, granddaughter, Amanda Kensek and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Brust Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana.

The family would like to thank the staff at Greenwood Meadows Nursing Home in Greenwood for the care they have given her for the past several years.
