Wanetta Jane (Kirton) Ridge Myers

Wanetta Jane Myers, 82 of Sullivan, IN passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at The Waters in Sullivan, IN.

            She was born in Sullivan, IN. August 14, 1942, the daughter of John Robert Kirton and Kathleen Wanetta Rankins. She’s preceded in death by her parents, a brother John “Bob” Kirton and a grandchild Mitchell Ridge.

             Wanetta was a retired Librarian for over 20 years at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility.

            Survivors include a son, Michael W. Ridge (Tracy) of Sullivan, IN daughter, Paula Hamm Jones of Vincennes, IN, brother, Duane Kirton (Vicky) of Jasonville, IN., sister Francie Smith of Sullivan, IN. grandchildren, Stephanie Hamm, Kevin Hamm, Steven Hamm, Marcus Ridge Maurah (Zach Monroe) and several great grandchildren.

            Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Brust Funeral Home with Eric Blevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00AM until 11:00 AM.
