Whitney Michelle Snapp, 32, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at her home.
She was born on February 20, 1986 in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of Kevin Snapp and Pam Clark Flynn. Whitney graduated from Linton Stockton High School in 2004 and from Indiana State University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. She taught art at The Masters Class Community Christian School. Whitney was a member of the Wabash Valley Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana. She loved her family, dog Lola, art, painting, cooking, photography and knitting. Whitney really enjoyed eating sushi.
Whitney is preceded in death by her grandfather Joe Snapp.
Survivors include her parents; Pam (Rob) Flynn and Kevin (Kim) Snapp all of Sullivan, Indiana, grandparents; Floyd “Holly" Clark, Jan Clark and Jane Snapp, brother, Tyler Snapp, two sisters; Kiersten (Travis) Trotter and Chelsa (Ian) Henderson, “little brother” George Whittaker Phegley all of Sullivan, Indiana, niece, Lily, seven nephews; Lucas, Liam, T.J., Garrick, Greyson, Kevin and Waylon, several aunts, several uncles, several cousins and special aunt, Jennifer Hadley. Special thanks to her uncle Tim and aunt Dawn Clark and also the Hux Center especially Dr. Kunapareddy.
Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Wabash Valley Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor John Moyer officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
Whitney had a love for kids and in lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to local schools for children in need of supplies, lunches or books.
