William Harrison Bennett, 76, of Sullivan, Indiana formerly of Lyons, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on October 18, 1948, in Linton, Indiana the son of Charles W. Bennett and Daisy Taylor Bennett. Bill was raised by his father, Charles and stepmother, Neoma K. Bennett. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Crane as a supervisor. He was a member of the Lyons American Legion. Bill loved to fish, hunt and spend time at the river.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Mary Mann and Charla Kay Kelly and two nieces; Andi Mann and Kathleen Kay Collins.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Linda Nikam Bennett, daughter, Christina (Ryan) Howell of Sullivan, Indiana, three grandsons; Kaden (Jayelon) Robison, Gavin Howell and Easton Howell, one great-grandson, Kai Robison, one niece, Dena Swartz and three nephews; Tracy Mann, Anthony Myers and Billy Ray Myers.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
