Zaedyn L. Owings

Zaedyn L. Owings, 15 months, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born on February 7, 2018 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Rick Owings II and Michelle Johnson.

Zaedyn was also known as “Baby Zae”, Biggs”, “Biggins”, or at best “Zaedyn Shark”. Zae is mommies’ best friend, daddies’ big guy, and the best baby brother in the world. His love for music and his family is just as strong as he is.

Our miracle continues to give miracles and we couldn’t be prouder of our superhero. He gave many gifts of life and our journey doesn’t stop here.

Survivors include his parents; Rick Owings II and Michelle Johnson of Sullivan, Indiana, brother, Landyn Owings, paternal grandparents; Rick Ownings (Stephanie Morris) of Sullivan, Indiana and Carla Owings of Jasonville, Indiana, maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Johnson of Sullivan, Indiana, aunts; Brandee (Ben) Grissom, Tori Bedwell (Kendall Reid), Brooklyn Owings, Josilyn Owings and Holly Brunton and uncle, Jack (Cathy) Brunton all of Sullivan, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Wilford, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.
