Jane Yvonne (Walters) Moreland

Jane Yvonne Walters Moreland, 78, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at IU Methodist Hospital.

She was born on October 3, 1937 in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of William Eugene and Juanita (Lemon) Walters. Jane was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 139, VFW Post 2459, Sullivan Elks 911 and a former owner of the Melody Lounge. She attended Crossroads Community Church.

Jane loved spending time with family, friends and her dog daisy. She enjoyed traveling, camping and soaking up the sun on the beach with Ron. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Walters, grandson Kyle Snyder and father-in-law Clyde Moreland.

Survivors include her loving husband Ron Moreland, eight children; Melody Loveless of Sullivan, Terry Snyder, (Shirl) of Rockport, Jerry Snyder of Sullivan, Brad Snyder (Elaine) of Haubstadt, Rebecca Moreland-Green (Steve) of Indianapolis, Ronda Moreland  (partner Louise) of Greenwood, Jennifer Cline (Dave) of Danville and Nick Moreland (Kristen) of Zionsville, Indiana, seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, sister Anita Sue McMahan, mother-in-law Lily Lawson. She is also survived by her four legged friend Daisy.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana with Pastor Eddie Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana.
