Mabel Erlene Bedwell

Mabel Erlene Bedwell, 97 of Sullivan, IN passed away at 3:40AM Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor.

            She was born in Sullivan, IN December 4, 1918, the daughter of Ira Neal and Maude Purcell Neal.

            Mable attended the First Christian Church in Sullivan, IN, she was very artistic, wrote poetry and was a wonderful cook.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband, Cecil Bedwell in 1997, three brothers; Welcome Joe Neal, Harold Neal and Garland Neal “Short” two sisters; Hazel Fleener, and Esther Woods.

            Survivors include two daughters; Esther Wright of Sullivan, IN, Cindy Kiefner (James) of Clearwater, Fl, one brother; Ira Neal Jr of Mooresville, IN, five grandchildren; Terry Wright (Lydia), Tammy Siner (Greg), Tricia Wright, Jamie Kiefer (Jillian), and Julia Peters (Timothy), 12 great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

            Graveside services will be at 1:00PM Friday, January 8, 2016 at Westlawn Chapel with Minister Mitchell Hoesman officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 12:30PM Friday at Brust Funeral Home.
