The Griggs family grew up on Jackson Street in Sullivan just a few blocks away from the Walter and Helena Keene family. We knew them well as some of the Keene kids were in the same classes or in between the same classes as the Griggs kids. We were often at the Keene house. It was a wonderful place where you were always welcome and accepted. Although older than me, I still remember Walter Wayne as being an extension of that wonderful household. I want to extend my sympathy to all his family, and especially to Stella and her mother for their great loss. God bless you all. Ardath Griggs Drake
